Hi there, as you may have noticed, things have been a bit quiet on my Facebook page/blog of late. Unfortunately we are in hospital with our little boy Thomas. He has sadly been diagnosed with Bacterial Meningitis and has been very sick indeed. 

Time for a bit of a personal post me thinks! There are always key moments on life’s little journey that turn your world upside down and set you off on a totally new path. This month I have had two of my biggest. Firstly I handed my notice on the day job to run my business full time. Anyone close to me will know what a truly momentous thing that is. To find the confidence to change my path and follow a dream means the absolute world to me. 

What a crazy little whirlwind the last few weeks have been. From shooting my first 'weddings', to getting them both featured on RocknRoll Bride and the Wedding Community Blog. Things just seem to have exploded and I seem to be being flooded with enquiries! It's all good though! It's amazing, I guess if something is meant to be then all it needs is the first initial push. The rest will just gather its own speed and momentum. It's funny, a feature on RocknRoll Bride is kind of where I put the bench mark for the future, I never thought I'd be ticking that off with with my first attempt! This week ended with a beautiful email I received from someone, telling me just how inspirational they found my work. I was totally over whelmed that someone would even take the time to email and tell me that. Hopefully, here's to many more months like this in the future!!

Perhaps my biggest muse has been my beautiful niece Ava. I absolutely adore every little hair on her head……

Welcome to my blog!

I’ve been meaning to start one for a while but, as usual, it has been comfortably nestled on my ‘to do’ list. As my wife Emily will eagerly point out, I bloody love a list! I write lists for absolutely everything….especially ‘to dos’. Unfortunately over recent years my to do list has been just that, an ever increasing list of good ideas that I’ve been adding to rather than triumphantly striking through. It feels very good to tick one off!
